Pilates is a continuous re-conditioning process for me

Bex Dickinson

My journey with pilates started 15 years ago when my pelvis became twisted after a lot of running during my 20’s. I learned I had hypermobility so my body had made compensations to get through many high-impact workouts. Pilates has massively reduced my musculoskeletal pain and improved the integration of more local muscles. It has taught me to find ease, therefore increasing efficiency and functionality. Practicing Pilates is therefore a continuous re-conditioning process for me. Ultimately Pilates can give you the trust in your body and confidence to enjoy exercise again after injury or when coping with various conditions. I am a really personable teacher and encourage people to find both integrity and freedom in their movement.
