Deep Dive Reformer Workshop

Ever feel like an hour on the reformer just isn’t enough?! Join Ria on a Friday evening for a 2 hour deep dive into the reformer! Once a month up to Christmas from September Ria will be hosting a special extra long Friday evening class designed to celebrate all things reformer!

Some reformer experience is preferred.

  • Work on your regular, favourite reformer exercises with more time to hone and nurture your technique
  • Play with some dynamic, playful variations you don’t get to experience in weekly classes
  • Challenge your mind and body with new ways to move on the Reformer
  • Expect surprise extras such as the Oov or magic circle on the Reformer.

These monthly sessions feel energised, strong, refreshed, confident and knowledgeable. Become a Reformer pro with these highly specialised Dynamic Reformer workshops with Ria and watch as your body moves in a way you didn’t think was possible – until now.

One of the most famous pieces of Pilates apparatus, the reformer offers length, strength and flexibility for a lean and toned body. It has a bed-like frame with a moving carriage that travels back and forth with your body, while springs offer different resistance levels as the carriage moves along the frame. With an adjustable footbar, straps with handles for your feet and hands, a box and a jumpboard, the reformer can be finely tuned to suit your body and individual needs.

Ria’s thoughts on the last hugely popular workshop

Last week, we had so much fun in our two-hour deep dive reformer class! October’s theme was reformer plus Oov, and the time just flew by. I wanted these longer Friday evening sessions to give us the space and time to celebrate all the fun that comes with being on the reformer while also having time to go through some of the nitty-gritty behind each movement.

The Oov brings to life some of those classic reformer exercises like Cleopatra and Elephant and completely changes your appreciation of those bread-and-butter moves like footwork and feet in straps. One client compared using the Oov on the reformer to paddle boarding! I can’t wait for the November and December sessions, and I’m busy chewing on ideas for more Friday evening reformer fun!

The next workshop is on Friday 25th November 6p-8pm. Just 3 spaces left so be quick.
