Pilates podcast
Did you know Claire Sparrow has her own podcast, which she co-presents with our very own dedicated client Sophie Rugg.
In this week’s episode, they discussed the theme of Motivation.
Here are Claire’s thoughts on this episode.
๐ Like Joseph Pilates, I am motivated to involve everyone in Pilates as a preventative for many ailments.
๐ I am motivated to keep growing our beautiful studio and team through every success story and win you share with me & the team.
๐ I am motivated to keep up my own practice because I feel so good when I do like I can achieve great things with my mind & body & I feel disconnected, despondent & down when I don’t.
As the days are shorter and the weather is chillier, I wonder what motivates you to stick with your Pilates practice at home & at the studio?
Here are some tips to help you keep the commitment you have made to yourself to integrate the power of Pilates into your life.
– Think of how you feel when you don’t do it, feel it & write it down. Now think of how you feel with you do it & write that down. Now you get to choose which is best for you!
– Energise yourself by drinking more, giving yourself a face massage, tap your body with the palm of your hand from head to toe. All of these things stimulate different systems of your body & will motivate you to keep moving & do more.
– Get some fresh air. Invigorating fresh air is a great motivator to move more on your return. Even if you just step outside your back door and take 10 deep breaths first thing in the morning, that’s all it takes to set the motivation train in motion.
